Aubren Villasenor

I am an award-winning media professional with a strong background in journalism, social media strategy, and content creation. 

I most recently served as a Social Content Lead at Temple University, where I focused on curating content for younger audiences on Instagram and TikTok. 

While an intern on the NBC Social Newsgathering team, I specialized in open source investigations and social media verification. My work has been featured on various NBC platforms including "Nightly News", "TODAY" and "NBC Special Reports."

An avid broadcast journalist, I served as a reporter and anchor at my college television station, Ithaca College Television. At the station I learned to be a one-man "backpack" journalist.

I graduated from Ithaca College May 2024 with a dual degree in Journalism and Violin Performance. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the violin, exploring the outdoors, and traveling the world.
